THE CARD:

To order a card please check with your HR department on how to obtain the card or email us at: MBC@amcham.lu.

The card is personal and non-transferable. It can also be asked for the partner of our members.  

This is your opportunity to have full privilege of all the advantages this card offers the whole year round.

Every paid membership has a certain number of free cards:

  • Chartered Members:                                        20 cards
  • Corporate Members:                                        10 cards
  • Small Entrepreneurial Companies:                   5 cards
  • Students, Senior, Micro Co, Affiliates:             2 cards

Additional cards for employees and their spouses can be ordered from Amcham for 10 Euros per card.

WHO WE ARE:

The American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg (AMCHAM), is the largest private Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg with over 350 members companies representing approximately 6000 employees, without counting their families in Luxembourg. Our companies are a melting pot of nationalities with 30% coming from the USA, 20% coming directly from Luxembourg origin and 50% affiliated with parent organizations Head-Quartered around the world. Principally English speaking, our companies and their employees represent considerable purchasing power, and all these companies and their employees are potential customers for your business.

AMCHAM has been in business in Luxembourg for 25 years and has developed a solid reputation for high quality service to its members and the broader society. We are primarily a business focused support organization which strives to ensure that Luxembourg remains an optimal European location for international businesses. We are a franchisee of the US Chamber of Commerce which gives us strong US connections, and a member of the Federation of American Chambers of Commerce in Europe which gives us a pan-European network. We have 13 Committee for various sectors of activities, normally put on 30 plus events a year and publish a digital newsletter weekly or more as needed. We have four principal activity streams: Networking to connect our members (In English) with each other or with the others in the Luxembourg ecosystem they should know; providing information on how Luxembourg works; problem solving to improve the business operational environment here in Luxembourg, and communicating with the government to lobby for the best interests of our members. We also publish an encyclopaedic book every 5 years called Doing Business in Luxembourg, which is virtually a bible for understanding who to connect with and how to get things done in Luxembourg. Soon available in Russian and Mandarin in digital form.
