Newsletter and Magazine Connexion

Dear Members and Friends,

AMCHAM is starting to bring back face-to-face events following the government-mandated guidelines, but we will also continue with virtual events as needed.

Our team continues to support you, gathering data to share and pushing the government to ensure that your concerns are considered during the decision-making process. We will be bringing back our quarterly Connexion magazine, but we will continue with our weekly newsletter to keep you updated in today’s fast-paced climate. The most recent AMCHAM Newsletter edition and previous magazine issues can be seen in the section below. Please feel free to forward any of our Newsletters to as many friends and coworkers as you’d like! Please feel free to send us stories of interest that we will consider posting if the timing is right and space permits.

We are also actively collaborating with our European AMCHAMs to engage and lobby EU officials on behalf of our member companies and their employees. Similarly, we’re working hard with our committees to create virtual events on various themes, which we’ll start launching soon.

Be assured we are here for you if you need us, so feel free to contact us with comments, recommendations, and questions at: Info@amcham.lu

With respect and very best regards,

Paul Schonenberg and the AMCHAM Team

Expat Profile Snapshots

The “Expat Profile Snapshots”interviews are presented to put a human face on individual expats explaining who they are, what they think about Luxembourg, their aspirations, why they are here and what contributions they have or will make to Luxembourg. In this book, we have  assembled 17 interviews of third country nationals. Two expat profiles were published in each edition of the AMCHAM Connexion magazine over a three-year period; a newcomer and a long-term resident. Our goal has been to bridge the gap between newcomers and long-term Luxembourg residents…to make connections between them, supporting integration and inclusion.
This initiative is supported by the “Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund” (AMIF) and the Luxembourg Reception and Integration Agency (OLAI) / Ministry of Family Affairs, Integration and the Greater Region.
4TH EDITION OF THE “DOING BUSINESS IN LUXEMBOURG” GUIDE

This handbook provides an overview to help professionals and business owners understand the rules, practices and customs of the Luxembourg business environment as well as the realities and cultural context of the workplace environment, the governmental and social support systems. This fourth edition is available as book and as USB business cards.
