The “Languages of Luxembourg” project is a web-based language learning tool that allows language learners to simultaneously study/learn either 5 languages (LL5) or 7 languages (LL7): Luxembourgish, French, German, Portuguese, English, Arabic and Persian. “Languages of Luxembourg” offers free written and audio material accessible on a website (www.languagesofluxembourg.lu) or as downloadable mobile phone apps (iOS and android). These tools can accompany a more classical approach to language learning, allowing learners to study when, where and how long they want. All the materials are offered free of cost.

This project has been carried out between 2016 and 2018 under the auspices of and with the financial support of Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte through the mateneen initiative. AMCHAM Luxembourg, INTCOMLUX and Mylanguage are the initiating partners who worked together to develop this language learning project.

The written and audio content was developed for  “Beginner“, “Intermediate” and “Advanced“ levels. We have included below the content of Chapter 1 (Greetings) off the “Beginner” level, the complete content for all chapters and levels being accessible at no cost on www.languagesofluxembourg.lu.

The mobile phone applications (iPhone and Android) can be accessed as the “Languages of Luxembourg 5” (LL5) and “Languages of Luxembourg 7” (LL7), via the official Google and Apple mobile applications stores.

The complete written versions are available as downloadable PDF documents :
